Recovery on Campus Alberta is proud to present its inaugural Recovery Champion Award Gala, celebrating and honouring people with Lived Experience. The gala was held as part of the Alberta Health Summit, held at Red Deer Polytechnic.
The evening was a celebration of lived experience and recovery. We heard the inspiring stories of Kyle Young Pine and Liam Sorrenti, finding a path to overcoming addiction, adversity and other hardships.
We also had the honour of welcoming our new Health and Addiction Minister, Dan Williams, who spoke about Alberta’s commitment to recovery.
